| “I was staying over night in the guest slips at the Harbor Police docks in San Diego when three of the patrol officers told me that only vital repairs could be made while staying on their docks. They didn't want the place turning into a boat yard. I showed them I only need a few minutes to attach the decal to my transom then I'd be done. They actually helped me align the transfer and did the " a little to the right, now up on the left". I had the tape in hand and solidly fixed half the transfer in place, then following the instructions just tore the backing paper down the middle and rubbed the transfer in place and repeated the process for the other side. Everything turned out fantastically. Meridwel is a name with two meanings. From the french for sea mer i dwel (I live in the sea), and homage to my wife of 29 years whom I married well.” |
